What’s on this Spring on the Isle of Wight 14 Mar 2023
Spring has sprung here on the Island and although there are plenty of events on right the way through the year, Spring tends to signify the start of when the Isle of Wight calendar really ramps up a gear.
Here at Hose Rhodes Dickson, we get involved with as many events as we can, so read on to find out some of our favourites taking place this Spring…

Usually reserved for August, this year Wight Proms is back with Wight Prom Wednesdays, taking place at Northwood House, Cowes, every month through to October.

Mother’s Day Special at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway
Take mum for a heritage steam ride this Mothering Sunday. Climb aboard beautifully restored Edwardian carriages, and take a trip back in time through the unspoilt Isle of Wight countryside.

Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint
Returning to Culver Parade on the weekend of the 25th and 26th March, 100 cars compete on a specially constructed circuit, with the start in Fort Street and finishing in Yaverland. Hose Rhodes Dickson is pleased to sponsor this event.

Easter Adventure Quest at Osborne
Take in the beauty of perhaps the most stunning house on the Island with a trip to Queen Victoria’s holiday home, Osborne. Visit between April 1st – 16th and kids can take part in the Easter Adventure Quest, scouring the grounds for clues and challenges and discovering traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race.

Challenge yourself this Spring with the Isle of Wight leg of the Ultra Challenge UK. Whether you’re a keen walker or a seasoned marathon runner, you’ll find a level to suit you and enjoy the day and night of fun and celebration that awaits you!
