Hose Rhodes Dickson was formed in Ventnor in 1990 by Jeff Hose and Mark Rhodes. Richard Dickson joined the firm two years later and from there the partnership has grown. With the addition of Marcus Waldron and Jamie Busby there is now a total of five partners who, along with the three associate partners, all bring different skills and attributes to the business.
With a total of five offices, located at Newport, Ryde, Shanklin, Ventnor and Bembridge, the range of services offered by the partnership encompasses virtually all aspects of the property business. We aim to provide a complete property package for the Island including private residential sales, auctions, commercial sales, including hotels and guest houses and land and development sales, surveys and valuations, country house sales, residential and holiday lettings, and a comprehensive financial services department. We now have a total of fifty six staff and partners looking after the property needs of the Isle of Wight.
An agent on the Isle of Wight for over 35 years. Founding partner along with Mark Rhodes when Hose Rhodes was formed in Ventnor in 1990 which later became Hose Rhodes Dickson in 1993 when the ‘daddy’ of Island Estate Agency, Richard Dickson, joined the partnership. Where has the last 20 years gone…??? Love the work and still enjoy the thrill of handing over a set of keys to the new owners. My philosophy in work is to provide a good honest service as I would like sellers and buyers to reuse my firm next time around. I have now started to sell houses to the sons and daughters of those buyers that I initially sold to….!!
